The Second International Film Festival of Fine Arts is under way at the NovoCentro cinema. The festival will take place through 4 September in Santo Domingo at the Lope de Vega location, and then in Santiago from 1-7 September. The festival is known for presenting alternative films that rarely come to the cities.
27 films from Argentina, Brazil, Chad, Colombia, Costa Rica, Croatia, Cuba, France, Guatemala, Italy, Mexico, Spain, Turkey, Uruguay, Venezuela.
The names of the films are: Lengua Materna, 18 Comidas, El Amor de Tony, Acorazado, Aqui Me Quedo, Bal, A Screaming Man, El Mundo Segun Barney, Circus Columbia, Que mas Quiero, Carne de Neon, Ex, El Compromiso, La Conquista, Hermano, Dudamel, Women Are Heroes, Tropa de Elite 2, Tambien La Lluvia, Sin Retorno, Of Gods And Men, La otra familia, Las Marimbas del Infierno, La Casa Muda, Los Colores de la Montana, Che, A New Man and Forged.
