A judge has denied retired Colonel Pedro Julio "Pepe" Goico permission to leave the country. El Caribe writes that Goico had asked permission to leave the DR for Spain for a period of 10 days so he could tend to business regarding his residency in that country. The Attorney General's office said that his departure is not possible since he is on trial and has a hearing on 19 December.
