At least 108 people have died violently in the province of Santiago so far this year, including 24 men executed in several locations around the city, and this is worrying the business and social sectors. The latest case involves the murder of a bus driver, Kelvin Antonio Rodriguez Rosario, who was intercepted by his killers when he was traveling together with his brother in the sector of La Yaguita de Pastor. Recently four men from South America were executed in a rented house in the exclusive neighborhood of Los Cerros de Gurabo. Other victims have lost their lives during assaults, armed robberies and fights, as well as suicides and other criminal acts.
