Simplifying visa procedure

The US Consulate announced that anyone requesting an appointment for a visa interview could now set the date online for the payment of US$10. This compares to the US$16 cost of the previous procedure using Banco Popular as an intermediary. The new procedure comes into effect as of Thursday, 8 September.
