Dominicana Moda takes place from October 17-22 for its sixth year at the Hotel Embajador in Santo Domingo. Oscar de la Renta fashion designs will be the star of the runway shows, which will feature 45 Dominican designers and 10 foreign fashion designers. Marchesa, the leading Hollywood fashion firm, will participate this year in a benefit for the Fundacion Sur Futuro. A special highlight this year is a retrospective by Dominican designer Jenny Polanco.
