Ministry will deliver information of fuel costs

The Ministry of Industry and Commerce will give the campaigning group known as "Bajame la Gasolina" (Lower the Price of Gasoline) the historic information behind the setting of the price of fuels each week. The Ministry said that this was in keeping with its policy of transparency and legality and in true compliance with the judge's sentence that ordered them to hand over the public documents. In a written press statement, the MIC said that citizens could trust the Ministry to act in strict observance of the law. This news comes a little over a week after a judge ordered the ministry to provide the information on just how the prices of gasoline, LPG and diesel (and kerosene and avgas as well) are set each week. The Ministry explained the delay saying they had only just received the court order. They promised to deliver by Wednesday, 14 September.
