what are lOUs hours for december.Is he closing down for a few weeks.

I think he is in NY for most of December.

we spoke to him last week and I remember him saying he was headed back to the states for possibly 3 months.

Lou told me he is closing the bar from 12/15/06 to around 1/15/2007 for a trip back home & to fix up the bar in early January. I'm sure the bar will be back open around the 2nd week of January.

When I was there in early Dec, Lou told me he would be coming back to NY for Christmas, but would return to the DR just after New Years, and that he would reopen around Jan 10th.

Tuesdays are the one day a week that the bar is closed.

yea we were in there last Tuesday he said he was normally closed but the beer delivery came late and everyone was sitting around drinking so he stayed open a while anyhow. Ordered out for some pizza and sat around drinking. Even with the door locked and being closed he still had more people than next door. She must be putting in her own money to keep the place open.
