President Leonel Fernandez was in Santiago yesterday to inaugurate an industrial vocational school at the Pekin neighborhood and the first phase of the housing development INVI-Villa Progreso La Barranquita. The governmental housing project cost RD$243.9 million for 168 dwellings of 85 square meters each. The high school was financed by the governmental Fromper fund and cost RD$226.8 million.
