Canadian Minister of State of Foreign Affairs (Americas and Consular Affairs) Diane Ablonczy is visiting the Dominican Republic this week.

This is the first bilateral visit to the DR by a Canadian Minister. The visit seeks to underscore the importance of Canadian tourism to the DR-Canada relations and to the Dominican economy.
