The latest forecasts are predicting showers in some parts of the country because of a low-pressure trough and winds from Tropical Storm Maria. The National Meteorological Office (Onamet) reported that surf conditions today along the north coast will continue to pose dangers for small craft and people are advised not to go into the waters along the coastline. Residents of low-lying areas are advised to be alert for unusual conditions caused by Tropical Storm Maria. The local authorities continue to monitor the storm as it moves to the north.
