DR1 will be taking a Christmas break and the news will not be updated on Friday, 22 December, Monday, 25 December or Tuesday, 26 December. A summary of headline news over the Christmas holiday will appear in the Wednesday, 27 December and Thursday, 28 December editions. Likewise, there will be no news updates on Friday, 29 December, Monday, 1 January and Tuesday, 2 January, on the occasion of the New Year holiday.
