While staying at the New Garden I needed some laundry done. I found this place which does 1 load for 200 pesos. You walk the stuff over (like a1 minute walk from New Garden) and pick it up in about 8 hrs or the next day. They wash/dress/fold your laundry. Nice people too. They give you a slip when you drop stuff off and you return with the slip for your stuff.

If you walk out the entrance to the New Garden make a right towards Bon and just go straight. Youll cross an intersection but keep going straight and youll see this sign.

And probably this nice lady.

This should be good enough directions and location information for anyone looking to find the place. (I hope).

good to know now we can use the closest one depending upon where your staying. I had previously used laundry service in the hotel to let the girls working there earn a little extra pesos. This trip I needed it being 11 days and asked. I was pointed to that laundromat so I used it twice with great results. I love the idea of one time during my trip getting some stuff washed and my clothes for cold weather. The I go back one more time about a day before I leave and get everything dirty washed. This way when I come back I only have 2 or 3 sets of clothes to be washed. I can put all my warm weather clothes right back into the drawer for next trip and not have to deal with all the extra laundry back home.

I thought the term "Getting Your Laundry Done" was used for being licked clean by a chica! OH BABY, TAKE IT EASY.../..

....isn't it time we start developing new, modernistic langauge?????????

I stayed in Los Charimicos on my last trip and found a nice laundry place on the east end of town. They charged by piece and were pretty reasonably priced. Even gave me credit one time as I was short on pesos. Inconvenient of course if your not staying in Charimicos, and I wouldn't recomend staying there, so i guess this is totally useless info.

One of these days I'll post a report....
