I will make my 2nd trip to the DR next week (for 4 nights). I currently have a room reserved at the Jaragua; the Hilton and a suite at the Intercontinental.
I will be seeing someone from the DR part of the time, and am hoping to make new friends and take them to my room.
I'll cancel any reservation I do not need. Am I S.O.L. at each of these hotels?
If I want something decent -- around $175 a night and is Chica friendly, where should I go? Many thanks.

Those may not be guest friendly?

DO NOT bother with The Jaragua, they do not permit guests under any circumstances unless you check in with them.
I am fairly sure The Hilton allows "new friends" to visit for a $30 fee.
The V Centenario Intercontinental generally looks the other way, You can sneak them in via the casino back entrance, near the VIP room and avoid the front desk. Tell them @ the desk upon check in your fiance is joining you later, and her name is Garcia.
(They will not bother to stop you)
Happy Hoeing!

Thanks. Unless someone else chimes in -- looks like the Intercontinental it is.
Thanks MisterPink.

Check out Hotel Raizor right behind the Jaragua. Local hotel but chica-friendly.

Forget about the Jaragua. This hotel is not chica-friendly.
The last time I stayed at the Intercontinental Hotel was last summer. Last time I went, I was not allowed to bring in a chica.
I guess you can ask them if "guests" are allowed. And if they are allowed, ask them if there is a fee or not.
The Hilton is chica-friendly. In the past, there was not guest-fee. But now, there is a guest-fee.
Have a safe and fun trip!!!

I forgot to mention, at the Hilton, it is a $30 guest fee "plus" 26% tax. So its more like a $37 fee. This is in US Dollars.
this looks good. did you stay there?
how far from the parade to boca chical is it?
