Border intelligence officers (DOIF) and the National Drug Control Department (DNCD) agents have arrested an Army Captain, Luis Y. Cavallo Cuello in possession of 182 lbs of marijuana. He was arrested while driving a pickup with 22 packages containing the drugs. He claimed he was a supervisor for the EdeSur power company, reported Roberto Lebron, spokesman for the DNCD. EdeSur confirmed that Cavallo Cuello was in charge of security for the company in San Juan de la Maguana. He was fired for serious misconduct at work.
