Is this an American proverb? Can anyone explain it to this guy from a different hemisphere and different era? Or is it just another way of saying FUCK YOU? (I suppose the Jayman would prefer either of these containers to a wineglass).

Pachyderm means "thick skin". Not sure what "pachederm" means, but if the same you have sure joined the right board!
