Two National Police majors will be discharged and a colonel will be pensioned off over their "lack of ethics" in the performance of their duties in connection with the murder of Colonel Cesar Augusto Ubri Bocio, assigned to the National Drug Control Department (DNCD). As reported in Diario Libre, the Chief of Police, Major General Jose Armando Polanco Gomez said that the Central Directorate of Internal Affairs had recommended the disciplinary measures following an investigation. The measures were approved by the Higher Council and later sent to the President of the Republic. The decision affects Major Ricky Rosario Antigua, who provided three firearms and military equipment to Wascar Antonio Cavallo Montero, the person accused of killing officer Ubri Bocio, Major Wascar Antonio Cavallo Done, his father, and Colonel Jesus Felix Bello, who had assigned Corporal Cavallo Montero to his escort.
