The organizations that make up the Coalition for Dignified Education are holding a Family Walk for Education this Sunday. This latest demonstration is aimed at renewing the push for 4% of the GDP to be assigned to education. The walk will begin at 8:30am at the UASD campus in Santo Domingo. According to Hoy newspaper, there will be recreational activities until 10am, followed by the march, with the support of AMET agents and a private security team.
