The Viva telecommunications company continues its aggressive quest for new clients with market-making pricing. Tomas Perez Ducy announced the BlackBerry Social Plus plan, offering prepaid plans for RD$19 per day and monthly plans for RD$425 including Internet access.
Viva was the first telecom company to offer prepaid plans for the Internet when most mobile clients are on prepaid plans.
Perez says that the Viva plans have resulted in a 300% increase in their client list. Pricewise, Viva's plans are the most attractive in the market, and they have extended Blackberry usage to thousands of young users who seek to be constantly connected to their smartphones.
