A 22-year old woman was stabbed to death on Sunday night by an 18-year old girl who was offended by a comment the other girl posted on a page in Facebook. Cristina Cabrera died after being stabbed by Betty Morel Vilomar during an incident in the El Faro colmadon in Villa Duarte in Santo Domingo East. According to witnesses Cabrera was enjoying the company of some friends when Morel Vilomar approached her and asked if the former had published some negative remarks about her. There was an immediate fight and Morel Vilomar killed Cabrera. News reports say that Betty Morel turned herself in on Tuesday morning to the Police.
