President Leonel Fernandez plans to travel to Venezuela, United States (Miami), Argentina and Paraguay starting on his new tour on 28 October. He is traveling to participate in the 21st Ibero-American Summit of Heads of State and Government that will take place in Asuncion, Paraguay on 28-29 October. The topic for discussion at the event is "Transformation of the State and Development."
In his stopover in Miami, Florida, President Fernandez will receive the Life Achievement award from the Latin Trade publication, during the Bravo Business Awards ceremony. From there he will travel to Paraguay to attend the Summit, then to Venezuela and finally to Argentina.
