The 5th Anthropology and Archaeology Congress is taking place at the Museum of Dominican Man. It is dedicated to Marcio Veloz Maggiolo, one of the leading Dominican scientists, researchers and writers. The two-day congress, which is open to the general public, is focusing on presenting research in socio-cultural anthropology, indigenous archaeology, cave art, colonial archeology, announced Museum director, Christian Martinez.
