Three Zimbabwean women suspected of forcing men to have sex with them were presented in court Saturday, said a spokesman for the police.
Young women, including two sisters aged 24 and 26, were generally men get in their car before forcing them to perform sexual acts, sometimes without protection, before collecting their semen for rituals whose details have not disclosed, police said. A male accomplice was also arrested and was heard by the court.
"We can confirm that three women and one man have been arrested," said spokesman Oliver Mandipaka police. "We can not say more since the case was brought before a judge." At least 14 such attacks have occurred over a period of two years.
In March, the women had been driving a young man of 19 years, and had poured an incapacitating substance. She had then forced to have sex with all three, using a condom.
Subsequently, they were attacked at least one military and one police officer. When they were arrested, police found 31 used condoms in the trunk of their car.
