Designer Jenny Polanco is exhibiting her vintage clothes dating back to 1978 to open Dominicana Moda, the leading fashion week of the Dominican Republic. She also will be presenting her Spring 2012 collection. The event is being held this week at the Hotel Embajador in Santo Domingo.
Monday's program starts with Jenny Polanco at 8:30pm, Leonel Lirio at 10:30pm.
Tuesday, 18 October: Arcadio Diaz (5pm), Marisol Henriquez (7pm), Studio F (9pm), Lucia Rodriguez (10:30pm). Wednesday, 19 October: Video Fashion Group (3pm)
Edda Gonzalez (5pm), Damaris Rubio (7pm), Oriett Domenech (9pm) and Giannina Azar (10:30pm). Thursday 20th October: Karlos Nunez and Ana Karina Rosa at 12:30pm, Natalia Franch, Cosita Linda, Azuquita by Wendy Luzon (3pm), Solange Jimenez (5pm), Camila (7pm), Larissa Salcedo (9pm), Belkola (10:30pm), Friday, 21 October: Maria Diaz, Moises de Moya (12:30pm), Jusef Sanchez and Juan Cotes at 3pm), Jose Duran (5pm), Jose Jhan (7pm), Jacqueline Then, Moses Quesada (9pm), and Gutierrez Marcano (10:30pm). On Saturday, the closing event features the Design School of Altos de Chavon at 11am, Linandra Javier, Blue Island by Madelaine Morel at 12:30pm, Blue Country at 4pm, Cub Sexyman at 5pm, and the closing benefit fashion run by Marchesa at 8:30pm.
