I had five minutes to kill at Logan airport this morning, so out of sheer morbid curiosity, I walked over to the exchange window and asked what the DR peso was going for...22.50to 1!!!! Thats a hell of a vig. I laughed in the guys face. I will never buy at the airport. Here's to 35 in 12 days!!!(A guy can hope...)

in january 2004 i enquired here in canada what the exchange was. at this time in Sosua it was about 50 to 1 and in canada it was 27:1 USD AND they had to order them because, of course, they didn't stock them. no one at the, major canadian bank, could remember the last time the exchanged $$$ for pesos. i wonder why? :? :?
