The so-called Aussie dollar, the world's fifth-most traded currency, bought $1.0178 at 5:45 pm yesterday. The Markit iTraxx Australia index climbed 7 basis points to 191 as of 5:47 pm yesterday, according to Deutsche Bank AG.
