DR women's volleyball team in the semi-finals

The Dominican Republic women's volleyball team, ranked 14th in the world, defeated Puerto Rico today, 3-2 (25-21, 25-22, 26-28, 21-25 and 15-8) to move on in the semi-finals in the Pan Am Games. On Monday, the DR had defeated Canada, 3-2 in the Guadalajara, Mexico games. Canada, ranked 22nd in the world, fell 3-2 (27-29, 22-25, 27-25, 25-21, 15-12). The DR team now will match Brazil.
