The number of people entitled to vote in the next presidential elections of 2012 has reached 6,430,827, while overseas voters numbered 243,074 as of 17 October. The JCE is giving until mid December before closing the voting list.
The Central Electoral Board (JCE) provided this information during a working meeting with the delegates of the political parties in which they were presented with the voter rolls as of 17 October. Moreover, they were given a 10-day deadline in order for the parties to present their reservations or considerations on several proposals for resolutions. These include proposals on voting booths and ballot boxes, election observers, and minors who will be adults, and therefore of voting age, on 20 May.
