This coming 4 December, Spanish tenor Placido Domingo will be performing at a benefit in Santo Domingo to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Fundacion Sur Futuro. He will be accompanied by the National Symphony Orchestra, directed by maestro Eugene Kohn. Melba Segura de Grullon, president of the Fundacion Sur Futuro and Margarita Copello de Rodriguez, president of Fundacion Sinfonia, made the announcement. They said that the program includes zarzuelas and popular Latin American music. The concert is a new version of the Voices of the World for the South concert. Placido Domingo first performed at Altos de Chavon amphitheater in 2008.
