The National Meteorological Office (ONAMET) said yesterday evening that today would continue to be cloudy with occasional showers and thunderstorms. Most of the activity would take place in the east and along the Caribbean coast. There will be partially cloudy conditions in the north, northeast, the Cibao Valley and the northwestern region. Onamet mentioned the presence of a low-pressure area in the southern Caribbean, which will have some effect on our weather. This system could become a tropical storm over the next 72 hours.
