In Santiago, the Aguilas defeated the Toros from La Romana, thanks to home runs by Luna, Bogusevic and Rosario, 5-2. And in an upset, over in San Pedro de Macoris the Estrellas Orientales defeated the leading Leones del Escogido, also by a score of 5-2.
