Hey guys

The Casino at the Hilton Hotel (on the Malecon) has a promotion going on.

If you exchange your money into chips (to gamble), you receive an extra 10% worth of chips free.

But you need to exchange a minimum of 2,000 pesos (which means that you will receive 2,200 worth of chips instead of 2,000).

And you can only exchange a maximum of 10,000 pesos (which means that you will receive 11,000 worth of chips instead of 10,000).

So this is what I did.

I always exchange 10,000 and receive 11,000 worth of chips. But I put the 10,000 worth of chips in my pocket and play with the free 1,000 worth of chips.

I only play until I lose 500 worth of chips. But I still walk away with an extra 500 pesos for free!!! :D

500 pesos for seven nights, that's 3,500 in free money!!! That's two ST's or a week's worth of gas for my rental car and a few free meals and drinks.

Here is a picture of me winning a hand. But I lost the next few hands and I always stop playing after I lose 500 pesos (but still leave with an extra 500 pesos in my pocket).

Oh and did I mention that the bartenders are available? :D

Wow, that's incredible. Most casino that give you bonus chips, give you different color chips. They usually don't allow you to cash them out, and/or they force you to bet with non-bonus chips.

Great report!

Thank you for your kind words.

The bonus chips are a different color (White ones). But as you play with them, the dealer will give you regular chips.

For example, if I bet with my 100-peso bonus chip (while playing Blackjack) and I win (once in a blue moon lol), then the dealer will give me a non-bonus chip (the grey one as you can see in the pic).

Sooner or later, the white chips will become grey ones.

Besides, there are so many people playing, the casino staff cannot keep track of each player. :D

And as far as the casino staff forcing us to do something, I just ignore them. For example, taking pictures was not allowed. But I took one anyway.

BTW, were all 3 BJ's yours?

The casino staff were a bit upset. They told me to use a cell phone next time and not a digital camera. My bad. :D

Yes, all three Blackjack's were mine. I got a pair of A's which I splitted. I then got another Ace and I split those again.

But I still lost that night. lol
