Jose Daniel Vasquez, a student at the Las Americas Institute of Technology (ITLA), is the Latin American and Caribbean champion in the Cisco Networking Academy NetRiders 2011 Skills Competition for Latin America and the Caribbean.
The competition is organized by Cisco to provide an opportunity for Networking Academy students to participate in a valuable learning experience with peers and friends from other countries. Last year, over 10,000 students competed in NetRiders events in over 80 countries across the globe. He won a one-week study trip to Cisco's worldwide headquarters in San Jose, California from 8-14 January 2012.
