Last Saturday I was heading toward Classico’s. An aggressive street rat approached me. ‎It was on the road New Garden is on. It turns out this street rat was a guy. The positive ‎side of this is the second street rat who approached and told me. A fight started between ‎the two. I took it as a good time to keep on moving towards classico. The second street ‎rat made it clear this was a chico and not chica. Yes there was the so pick me option. ‎Anyone else run in to this?‎

I think what some of the guys mean here: as well as myself, is that if we were to go into a gay bar we should expect to get hit on, and when we would reject these advances with the reasoning that we are not gay I believe we would be asked; well then why are you here..and rightfully so.

There is something dubious about a man who dresses up like a woman in a place where it is known that guys are looking for some Pay4Play and also where alchol is being served. I know where you are coming from. I guess my reaction is somewhat a cumulative one to several theads on the board this past week. I just get tired of people who go to another country and act like they have the right to impose their will on those who live there. The lack of understanding of other cultures, are even giving an effort to "get it" is annoying. The whole 'Sosua is our playground and eveyone should cater to us' attitude is tiresome. Add to that the 'I once went to a barrio with my girlfriend and you'd think that she'd appreciate the fact that I'm trying to save her ass from her shitty life' thing. Guys who don't make any effort to speak the local language, learn about or understand local customs and think they own a place are not my cup of coffee. This doesn't refer to everyone here, not nearly. It's just been pretty prominent lately.

Maybe, when you are in a strange country its not a good idea to get so fucked up you can't tell if you are talking with a man or a woman. I've been to Thailand several times and believe me the katoeys are a lot hotter and more difficult to figure out than the trannies in the DR.

I don't know who it was but somebody on this board had reported that they took back to their hotel room what they thought was a chica and turned out to be a chico. why not just ask before you leave with them? since you know that they're in there with you, you can tell them you just want to make sure you're getting what you paid for. i don't think anyone will be insulted since everyone is there for the same thing. mongers to get laid and working girls and "girls" to make money.

I agree Rover. What some of the guys don't seem to understand is that most of those trannys could whip OUR ASSES. At the very least, it's man against man. All, of which I have known, who try to pass as women so that they can get alone with the guy, beat him up and rob him.

They know that most men are embarassed for having made the mistake and probably will not ever tell anyone. And, if they do tell anyone, it will be assumed that they are secretly gay and they will be held up to public ridicule and not believed.

Trannys get away with most everything up to, and sometimes including, murder. I'm certainly not saying that all trannys are murderers, but those who are deceptive have that capability.

If they're tying to pass, it's best to avoid them at all costs. If they're not, they're just regular people and should be treated as such. I have known several who were very good people and whom I count as friends.

I think what some of the guys mean here: as well as myself, is that if we were to go into a gay bar we should expect to get hit on, and when we would reject these advances with the reasoning that we are not gay I believe we would be asked; well then why are you here..and rightfully so.

There is something dubious about a man who dresses up like a woman in a place where it is known that guys are looking for some Pay4Play and also where alchol is being served. Some of these trannies do look very much like woman to the point that I have to admit that I am some what un-nerved by the fact that sometimes I myself cannot tell the difference.

Alot of these TV's also have no intention of letting on to an interested individual their true sexual identity until late in the game when they are alone and then ...! SUPRISE ! at which point the ingedients for a disater are all in the mix.

I think many, myself included, wonder as to why these individuals would want to put themselves in a situation such as this, where the odds are high that they will be setting themselves up for a rejection at the very least, and possibly a confrontation at worse.

Also we.... the happy members of the mongering community, are just not looking to become embroiled in this kind of drama ourselves either. JMHO
