The promoters of what is being described as the largest shopping center in the Dominican Republic, the Centro Sambil Santo Domingo are now promoting the rental of the stores. There are 350 store spaces for this chain, regarded as one of the most successful in Venezuela. The Santo Domingo shopping mall is their first abroad. The four-level structure on the Ave. John F. Kennedy consists of 230,000 square meters of construction, which began around a year ago. It is scheduled to open to the general public on 30 Octoer 2012. The promoters say that 55% of the stores have already been allocated. The promoters expect stores to begin decorating as of April 2012. The promoters say that the shopping center offers an innovative experience with an active events program all year round, based on their success in Venezuela.
