Power generation company EGE Haina is promoting two tours for the general public to visit the Los Cocos Eological Farm in Juancho, in the southwestern province of Pedernales. The tours will take place on Saturdays 5 and 19 November from 10am to 4:30pm. The project is the largest windfarm in the Caribbean, with wind turbines standing 125 meters tall. Farmers and fishermen from the area will be selling fresh produce, and there will also be locally made arts and crafts for sale.
