Toque Profundo and the artists who won awards at the 26th Biennial of the Visual Arts will be at the Museum of Modern Art on Friday, 4 November for interaction with the general public. Admission to the agenda of cultural activities planned for the evening is free. There will be a Panel on the Winners, chaired by Guadalupe Casasnovas, with the participation of Orlando Barria and Francisco Rodriguez at 7pm. They will discuss the biennial and its changing model. During the discussions they expect to evaluate the past, present and future of biennials from the perspective of the artists. They also intend to focus on the artistic, social and cultural consequences of the consolidation of the Biennial as one of the most important events on the local visual arts scene.

Toque Profundo, a leading rock group headed by Tony Almont and guitarist Leo Susana, will perform as of 8:30pm.

The Museum of Modern Art is located at Av. Pedro Henriquez Urena, Plaza de la Cultura. The museum is normally open Tuesday to Sunday from 9am to 6pm and Fridays, through 10pm.
