I used to stay at the Europa in Boca Chica But since Batrand ( the former renter) left I have not been back so I don't know if the Hotel is still in the same shape, same price or run the same way. Boca has gone down hill in the last 2 years so I now hit the north coast.

I have heard this a lot lately. What happened. I will be flying into Santo Domingo and staying in Boca for 2 to 3 nights. Will need a place to stay. Also looking to take Bus to Puerto Plata. Any suggestions?

Its a nice 4-5 hour ride on an air conditioned bus that shows movies.

Coral Hamacas was a nice looking place bring your family there but dont go for mongering ps the food put me on the can for 3 days.
