Orange inaugurates its green tower

Yesterday, Orange Dominicana inaugurated its new high-rise office building with President Leonel Fernandez in attendance. Fernandez thanked the Orange executives for investing in the country. According to Jean Marc Harion, the Orange Tower is the first 'ecological' building in the country, with 96 solar panels that provide 15% of the energy needs, saving 33,600 kilowatt hours and 628 tons of carbon dioxide (CO2). The green building is located on Nunez de Caceres Avenue, near the intersection with Romulo Betancourt, in Bella Vista.
