The president of the Central Electoral Board (JCE) Roberto Rosario says that political parties have expressed their approval for a plan to transmit the results of the 20 May 2012 presidential election vote count in real time. In the past these results were transmitted to the computer center of the JCE and then released to the public in bulletins. The plan is to publicly air them to the media. He expressed his optimism that electronic voting would be implemented for the 2016 presidential, municipal and congressional election.
