International Rodeo Contest

This Sunday, 20 November is the final rodeo of the 8th International Rodeo Championship. The event is being held in the Santa Barbara de los Platos field in Juan Adrian, Piedra Blanca, in Bonao province, an hour's drive from Santo Domingo or Santiago. Professional cowboys from Cuba, Puerto Rico, the US, Venezuela and the DR will be taking part. Some 40 contestants are seeking the championship and the event is free to the general public.
