An exhibition at the Bellapart Museum in Santo Domingo is showing 127 works by native and foreign artists, with a focus on women. The curator of the exhibition is museum director Paula Gomez and art critic Myrna Guerrero was responsible for the exhibition catalogue. The exhibition seeks to present the roles and facets of women in art from the 19th Century to the beginning of the present century. It is dedicated to the memory of writer/historian Maria Ugarte.
