Hot water problem at Europa

Back from Europa stay. Had a problem with the hot water, basiclly there was none during the last 5 days. I think I had hot water once in 5 days. Nothing worse than having to take an ice shower. I complained once but no fix. Other friends staying there same problem. I'm kinda of suprised since I've stayed there before and never had this problem.

If you get a room on the 3rd floor facing east (away from beach) be prepared to now have to walk around the whole hotel(which is a pain in the ass) to get to your room after 6pm. No more going through the pool area. They have a gate that they lock on the 2nd floor so you can't get through. I was told it was for my safty. I'm just wondering if there was a fire and I needed to get out that way what part of my safty are they protecting. The truth is they don't want people to sneak chicas into the hotel through the Quixotes restaurant since there's an enrance to the hotel from Quixotes. I don't see the big deal of locking that door since there are 2 other entrances to get into the restaurant. I guess the owner of Quixotes (Scott) wants that door left open to keep a better flow of traffic into his place. Scott happens to be a good guy and I enjoy the food there. I hope Scott and Diego can work somting out so that the Europa isn't a fire trap. Diego should just hire another guard to man that area.

i have met scott and he has very smug under tones about him...but can be very informative about certain subjects.
i dont have too much interaction with guys down there to begin with. if they are not from the board or board approved i steer clear and stick to the chicas...lol

as far as the hot water problem in europa...i never had problems with that. a few weeks ago me and my wingman did have to make the long trek around the hotel to get to our room on the 2nd floor...but we asked to switch rooms the next day and then we were fine.

Im not a big Europa Hotel fan myself. They have a fairly steady stream of customers because of location. You cant really expect much there. Your getting a low priced room right on the main drag.

Also remember your in a 3rd world country so if your paying the lowest price in town for a room you wont always have things like hot water , working air conditioning ,etc. If you feel you need better your going to have to pay more for a room.

i have been thinking this to myself for the longest time now...
you cant really expect much out the place..it is what it is, cheap and convienant...no different than your local motel near the bus station stateside...i have stayed there twice and now im moving on to the villas on the next trip...if guys dont want issues, hassles, problems i suggest moving onto condos/villas...but if you need a place just to get the number 1 priority done which is a cheap place to bang chicas than europa, new garden...etc..etc.. is the place!!! dont have high 5 star top notch customer service expectations of either.
