In the only game played last night, a passed ball allowed Jordany Valdespin to score from third base and gave the Tigres a 3-2 victory over the Estrellas Orientales in an 11- inning game at the Tetelo Vargas Stadium in San Pedro de Macoris. The game was a makeup game after rain postponed the original date last 18 November. The win created a three-way tie in first place in the league standings with Licey, Aguilas and Toros all with 19-14 marks. The game was a seesaw battle from the start with the Estrellas taking a 1-0 lead in the first inning, the Tigres going ahead in the third with RBIs by Jordany Valdespin and Anderson Hernandez, and then the Estrellas came back and tied the game at 2-2 with a tremendous homerun by Felix Pie.
