The Banco Popular's annual auto sales event, Autoferia Popular, was opened yesterday with a ribbon cutting ceremony headed by Manuel Alejandro Grullon and Fernando Olivero Melo. El Nuevo Diario reports that the event allows eligible customers to access low-interest credit on a new vehicle for up to 72 months. Olivero Melo said that the bank could approve a loan for up to 80% of the value of the vehicle and provide insurance and taxes and legal expenses. The fair even has an area for receiving used vehicles.
