Monsignor Agripino Nunez Collado revealed yesterday that the PRD has its answer to the proposal that was made by the ruling PLD as a solution to the crisis in the Central Electoral Board (JCE), and he announced that he would bring the two parties to a meeting next week. The mediator in the negotiations between the parties and the JCE said that "things were going well" as he talked with Hoy reporters Loyda Pena and Zoila Paniagua. A series of meetings held between the two parties ended without any concrete outcome. The situation at the JCE was brought about by the resignation of the Electoral Board's top computer officer, Miguel Angel Garcia.
