Central Electoral Board (JCE) president Roberto Rosario says that the Organization of American States (OAS) will begin preparations for auditing the computer area and the voter rolls next January. The idea is to provide transparency in these processes for the next elections. According to the official, at his request the OAS will contract an international company to carry out this work.
He told reporters from Diario Libre that this work by the international organization would be done with selected personnel and that "this is one element that enriches transparency, the correctness of the instruments that they are going to use in this election process." He said that he feels comfortable and secure that they have taken the precautions to organize "the most transparent elections in all our history."
