For the second time, the Dominican All Star Team traveled to Venezuela and came back the losers. Years ago the team went to Caracas and lost 4-3, but this year they came up against some great pitching and were shut out 4-0. The Venezuelan team was led by the outstanding pitching of Renyel Pinto, Dwayne Pollock and two more relievers. Of course the two homeruns by Luis Jimenez who went 4-4 and the triple and two singles by Gregor Blanco also helped the Venezuelan cause.
