Dominican Leonardo Arturo de Leon is one of the winners of the 2011 Platinum Level Oregon Film Awards. He won in the screenplay competition for having written the film Why Do Men Cheat. It is the story of a man who married the woman of his dreams but is about to lose her trying to discover the answers to why men cheat.

De Leon has also won the Award of Excellence in the 2011 Los Angeles Movie Awards competition (Not All that Glitters is Gold) and was a also a quarter-finalist in the 2011 Page International Screenwriting Awards and 2011 American Screenwriting Awards competitions.

Oregon's most prestigious film honor, the Oregon Film Awards are presented annually to independent filmmakers and screenwriters from around the world who produce unique and compelling films and screenplays in several competition categories.
