The Dominican herb manufacturer who provides the ingredients for the liquer Don Ramon Mamajuana recently announced that the Dominican love potion will be launched on the American market. The herb mixture consists of extracts from over 20 types of native roots and herbs. The correct composition is known to respected Dominican families that prefer to keep the recipe for the elixir a centuries-old secret.
Until now Mamajuana lovers had to travel to the Dominican Republic to buy a bottle of this delicious Dominican drink, which is very popular among the tourists.
Mamajuana has a long history, the recipe originally comes from the Taino Indians, and the drink existed hundreds of years before Columbus discovered America and Mamajuana on the island. But now Mamajuana will be exported to the USA, so several ingredients will no longer be kept secret.

I was told this liquor makes your stamina harder, but honestly never felt that way, cause it's an alcohol beverage and adding up alcohol never was stamina increasing for me, may be you should drink just a little and only it? How did exactly it worked for you?

It may have just been the Rum loosening me up, but I did feel a little frisky after I drank one. Just generally made me feel a bit horny. I would limit it to two drinks, because too much alcahol can kill your performance.

Then people with high blood pressure, like me, that already take vasodialtor medication, and guys, like me, that take ED drugs (viagra, cialis, etc.) which also are vasodialators should be careful.

I drank this with Hempstead and Aventura in Classicos. It taste like strong honey flavored rum. I drank about 2-3 and chased it with rum and coke. I don't know if it works or not, because the rum and coke works just fine by itself... Can you take this with you on the airplane in your check bags???

i cant be for certain if it works or not as i had a Lapella in my system at the time...but will try it again come june.

Really? Funny, because my bottle was made by a friend in DR and I took it with my carry-on bag. Once at JFK, they searched at it carefully but they let me have it. I still have it. :D :D

I think it is specific, because the last two times I went, which has been a while, I was asked if I had any. IIRC They were only confiscating Mamajuana bottles without the rum, if it had the liquids in it they let you keep it.

You are correct the ones they took did not have liquor in them I just assumed they would take it both ways. I was also stopped and asked if I had any. I looked annoyed and told the guy no. He didn't even check and waved me through security.

Customs agreement with US not to transport "agricultural" products. Once it's mixed, I don't think it applies anymore. Not sure.

I was just wondering... Because I did see some (with liquid and wihout) taken out of peoples bags when I was in POP airport. But I walked around POP airport and saw it sealed for people to take with them (all of them had liquid in them)...
