Central Bank forecasts year-end inflation at 8%

Accumulated annual inflation to November was 7.6%, according to a recent report of the Central Bank. The Central Bank forecast year's end inflation should close at 8%. The bank reported that the Lombard interest rate for short-term Central Bank loans to other banks is at 9% per yield. Fuel prices closed at 31 December at RD$217.30 for premium gasoline, RD$201.60 regular gasoline, RD$195.50 premium diesel, RD$188.90 regular diesel, RD$151.45 avtur, RD$133.47 fuel oil and RD$106.60 propane.
